How long before I can drive my car?
AYour windshield is part of the structural integrity of your vehicle, including but not limited to your roof crumple zone and passenger side airbag deployment. Bonding time for adhesives vary based on several factors, such as humidity and temperature. While we do use a quick dry urethane on most applications which under ideal conditions dries within 2 hours, your technician will provide you with your safe drive away time at the end of your installation process.

Do you accept insurance?
AYes, we accept all types of insurance. You have the right to choose Champion Auto Glass, Inc. to work on your vehicle. When you call the claim in, be sure you tell them you’ve already booked an appointment with Champion Auto Glass, Inc. It’s that easy. There are no additional fees or change of warranty as they may suggest as they try to “steer” you to a shop within their own company or network. We can provide better quality and service, so be sure to exercise your right to choose Champion.

Do you process my insurance claim for me?
AOnce you have called in your insurance claim, we handle the rest. From OEM and additional parts approvals, to billing, we handle the insurance paperwork for you. All you have to pay is the deductible on your windshield repair or replacement or other auto glass installation at the time of service.

How do I know if I need a repair or a replacement?
AIf the impact point is smaller then a pencil eraser and there are no radiating cracks longer then an inch, in most cases it can be repaired.

My technician says I have rust. How will that impact my installation?
AFederal guidelines require all windshield installations to return the vehicle to its factory integrity. To meet these guidelines rust must be treated completely prior to new windshield installation, including but not limited to being ground down to bare metal and primed to remove and prevent the spread of rust. In advanced cases, some body work may need to be preformed to allow us have adequate surface area to adhere your windshield to.

I have a leak, could it be the windshield?
ALeaks can be a symptom of several problems, some related to the windshield, some not. We will gladly come to your location to diagnose and provide you with an estimate for leak repair.

Do you install other glass besides cars, trucks, vans and SUVs?

Will my inspection stickers transfer to the new windshield?
AYes, in most cases. We transfer all Virginia, Maryland, DOD, State, County and parking stickers over to the new windshield. Some states have different types of stickers that cannot be transferred without destroying the sticker.

Do you warranty your work?
AChampion Auto Glass, Inc. offers a Life Time Warranty. It covers all workmanship and materials for as long as you own the vehicle. It does not cover rocks, vandalism, or other impact. If you believe you have a window that may be covered under warranty, please call us and we will assist you in determining if it may not cost you anything to fix.

My windshield needs replacement, but I don’t know what options I may have, can you help me figure it out?
AToday’s cars and trucks come with more then just heated seats. Options on windshield range from the basic tinted or shaded to the driver assisting features of heads up displays, electrochromatic mirrors, diversity antennas, lane departure warning systems, and heated wiper park area’s just to name a few. If there is any question about what options you may have on your windshield we will work with you to make sure we have the correct part for the job.

What other services do you provide?

Because your windshield is critical to your safety, it’s important to know what types of materials are going into your vehicle and to be able to know who is installing it. When you call us for a quote on your repair or replacement we will give you all the information you need to make an informed choice about your auto glass repair and replacement needs. Our phones are manned by the best in the industry, so we can answer any questions you may have, making sure you understand all the options on materials that go into your car and the price and performance of each option. We offer a price match guarantee on same brand of glass and adhesives. We also offer previously installed glass inspection from other vendors. If you have a problem such as a leak or a wind noise we will gladly inspect it for you.
